Money laundering is considered one of the crimes that cause a lot of damage to our society, which is closely related to the commercial and business sectors and the stock market; Within the business sector there are financial entities, which are also affected by this crime because, as they do not have a correct system for the prevention of money laundering, they can be sanctioned; For this reason, banks make sure they have efficient technological tools, such as: systems or web applications, with the aim that they are at the height of the problem. In this sense, the objective was to implement a web system to improve the monitoring and administrative control of cases investigated for money laundering in a bank in the city of Lima in 2021. The methodology used in this research work is one of the best known in software development, the waterfall methodology; It is recognized for guaranteeing the quality of the product, it allows working on projects that have a lot of planning, it enables a greater concentration in each phase; In addition, it is widely used in important projects of different companies. Finally, the inferential statistics results showed that there is a very high positive correlation between the variables because 0.970 was obtained in the Rho Spearman coefficient and the level of significance allowed accepting the alternative hypothesis "the web system notably improves monitoring and administrative control "; additionally, the observation guide was able to demonstrate that the security level increased from 20% to 86.67% and the response time was reduced from 240s to 5s; Furthermore, the descriptive statistics results showed that 96% of those surveyed consider that the web system allowed the regulation and improvement of the monitoring and control process.
