The present study focused on the design and manufacture of an automatic gas filling machine, to improve the packaging process of a container with a capacity of 10 kilos in the company VJ Gas. The study begins by visiting the plant and will appreciate the lack of an automated system in the packaging area, resulting in the design and manufacture of a machine that covers that vacuum. In the first place, it was necessary to identify the different deficiencies presented by VJ Gas S.A.C and how a machine could be developed to help or contribute to the packaging area. For this, it was necessary to visualize in which areas it presented the greatest deficits, for example: loss of time, loss of raw material, quality control, etc. Once, studied and analyzed the process by which the raw material passes to become a product. It was seen that, in the packaging area, there was a great loss of time and raw material; Those that can be saved. That is why you can implement a machine that can supply the flaw found in that area. Second, we proceeded with the review of theses, books, journals and articles related to the research that can be very useful when developing the mechanism and operation of the machine. For this, it was necessary to obtain information from reliable sources such as: Alice, Google Scholar, Scienctist, among others. Since at present you can find too much information on the web. Third, the design of the machine was started. The first was to draw a freehand sketch to then be designed professionally and optimally in the software Autodesk Inventor 2017. Once designed the following was to perform mathematical calculations to develop the mechanism of the machine optimally with the certainty of its operation . It is important to emphasize that in order to develop the design of the machine, a series of tests and simulations had to be carried out: rigid body mechanics, the hardness of the body, the deformation of the bodies to select the material of our structure, as well as also, the speed and strength of the cylinders, etc. Fourth, we had to think about a program which is easy to handle and can be interactive between the operator in charge and the machine. Since the operators will be in charge of the machine during the work stay, this is why they had to think of a programming language that is interactive and can meet the objectives required by the company. For that reason, it was decided to implement the programming language in Ladder, it should be emphasized that the entire program will be in the PLC in such a way that the machine can do the work autonomously.
