The present research titled ‘Proposal to implement a manufacturing company that produces jam based on blueberry fruit for export purposes’ has as a main objective, the implementation of a company producing blueberry jam as a healthy food for export purposes to the market of the Netherlands. Market, technical, economic and financial feasibility was determined. In the market study, the analysis of the consumer profile and the growing demand for jellies and jams in the Netherlands was carried out. For the analysis of the supply, the main providers of such market were studied. Likewise, it was noted that Peru was providing the Netherlands with a minimum quantity of jellies and jams which creates an opportunity to increase trade relations between both countries. The plant will be located in an agro-industrial zone, with an area of 400 m2, in the district of La Joya, department of Arequipa, in order to facilitate the access of raw material required in the production of the jam. It was defined that the type of company of EXPORT BERRIES would be an S.R.L (Limited Liability Company) which complies with the legal norms to be a company producing and exporting blueberry jam. Finally, the research demonstrates the economic and financial profitability of the project whose investment amounts to 346,090.35 soles, obtaining a NPV of 412,173.44 soles and a 45% IRR, whose investment recovery period (PRI) is estimated to be carried out in two years and three months, according to the financial parameters that demonstrate the viability of the project. In conclusion, the production of blueberry jam to export to the Netherlands market is a viable project representing a business opportunity.
