Abstract: RESUMEN La presente investigación tiene por objeto determinar de qué manera la importación de monturas oftálmicas influye en la rentabilidad de la Óptica Visual Perfect, Lima 2017. El estudio se realizó bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, descriptivo, no experimental, longitudinal y de tendencia, utilizando como población los Estados Financieros y Facturas Comerciales de la empresa Óptica Visual Perfect, correspondiente al periodo 2010 – 2017. No se definió tamaño de muestra dado que se trabajó con toda la población. Los resultados de la investigación concluyeron que el costo promedio del proveedor internacional (S/. 36950.00 soles) fue menor que el costo promedio del proveedor nacional (S/. 42300.00 soles), las ventas promedio del proveedor internacional (S/. 1165.00 soles), fue mayor que las ventas promedio del proveedor nacional (S/. 979 soles), el ingreso promedio por ventas de montura teniendo un proveedor internacional (S/. 43 045.00 soles) fue mayor que el ingreso promedio por ventas de montura teniendo un proveedor nacional (S/. 41 41275.00 soles) y el gasto promedio por compras de montura teniendo un proveedor internacional (S/. 43045.00 soles) fue mayor con respecto al gasto promedio por compras de montura teniendo un proveedor nacional (S/. 41 412.75.00 soles), aunque esto se debe a una mayor importación de monturas oftálmicas que permitió generar mayores ganancias a la empresa. ABSTRACT The present investigation is aimed at determine how the importation of ophthalmic frames influences the profitability of Visual Perfect Optics, Lima 2017. The study was conducted under a quantitative, descriptive, non-experimental, and longitudinal and trend approach, using as a population the Financial Statements and Commercial Invoices of the Optical Visual Perfect Company, corresponding to the period 2010 - 2017. No sample size was defined since worked with the whole population. The results of the investigation concluded that the average cost of the international provider (S /. 2650.00 soles) was lower than the average cost of the national provider (S /. 42300.00 soles), the average sales of the international provider (S / .1665.00 soles) was higher than the average sales of the national supplier (S / .979 soles), the average income from sales of frames having an international supplier (S / .4345.00 soles) was higher than the average income from sales of frames having a national supplier (S / .41412.75.00 soles) and the average expense for mounting purchases with an international supplier (S / .4345.00 soles) was higher with respect to the average expense for mounting purchases with a national supplier (S / .41.41275.00 soles). Although this is due to a greater importation of ophthalmic frames that allowed generating greater profits to the company. Keywords: Import; Profitability; Ophthalmic frames.
