ABSTRACT The research that was carried out was very important for the North Pacasmayo S.R.L Distributor Company, since its purpose was to implement a system of improvement of operations in the area of production of ready-mix concrete, to optimize the production costs of the plant. The methodology used in the research was the PDCA cycle or continuous improvement (Plan, Do, Check, Act); Starts with planning, doing, checking and acting. Also, within this cycle, two specific tools were used: the AMFEC method (Modal Analysis of Faults and Effects with Criticity) and quality control tests were also carried out, such as assays of moisture content of aggregates and% of fines, Quality assay of aggregate aggregate granulometry, aggregate combination determination and finite module summaries to see the reduction obtained by each type of concrete and its respective cost analysis. When using the AMFEC tool, a maintenance unit FRL (Filter Regulator Lubricator) was implemented, in addition, the air supply in the cement silo was redesigned, also, a direct connection was made in the supplies of additives, and finally, it was increased The frequency of maintenance in the plant; Thus eliminating or minimizing the failures caused by plant shutdowns in full production, resulting in an annual saving of S /. S/. 51,890.75 soles. Another important result that was obtained through quality control tests is a new type of dosage for the production of ready-mixed concrete of the seven most demanded products. Consequently, the cost of production was reduced by an average of S /. 112,127.91 soles per year. The results obtained from the research carried out are in agreement with the studies and the previous literature. In addition, this research leaves many possibilities of new studies. At the end of the investigation it is verified that with the implementation of the improvement of concrete operations premixed if they managed to optimize production costs remarkably.
