ABSTRACT This report thesis is a study of business opportunities aimed at companies that want to export red pepper destined for the German market, which is highly attractive founded to sell paprika in different presentations. Throughout the report it found that the Peruvian paprika is one of the fastest growing crops over the past five years and more potential for the future, because this is a non-traditional fruit highly prized in the markets of the European Union, mainly Germany and the Netherlands, for its flavor, properties and characteristics. The study highlighted that Peru has competitive advantages compared with the rest of the world. Our country not only has the land and climate variability that will foster an important global primacy, it also has the added of its geographical position, with reverse many markets in Europe and Germany annual seasons. Additionally, a study was conducted to market paprika in Germany where he was and increasing demand is analyzed, and the main reasons for purchase in order to respond to the demand for Germany's export capacity chili analyzed red pepper in the region La Libertad (leader in the production of paprika in Peru city) in the coming years; which showed positive results by strong private investment commitment to this growing despite poor logistics and technology. Given all of the above this study it showed that growing intensively paprika is a viable alternative export a very good return on investment.
