The main objective of this work was to increase the productivity of the current sugarcane harvesting system in the Harvest Division of Casa Grande S.A.A. through the proposal of an optimized design of harvest supply. To start with the proposal, a diagnosis of the current supply system was made in which the root causes were identified and prioritized by applying the Pareto diagram determining the economic impact they generate on the problem. This economic impact is finally expressed in monetary losses of the current system of the Harvest Division. The present work also details the current method of harvesting the machinery, ie the flow of the crop, "Face to face", being able to modify this by the movement in, "Melga", or movement in, "O", which includes the improvement of the total supply cycle of the raw material and in which the current measurable and debatable indicators are identified. This is thanks to the implementation of the use of double transshipment, which will be measured, compared and discussed through the application of time and movement study analysis. Finally, with the information collected, analyzed and updated, an analysis of results and discussion with quantitative data will present the evidences presented, as well as the increase of productivity in the harvest system of the division. In reference to the economic indicators, the proposal has a NPV of S /. 2.733.338,96; an IRR of 99.66% and a B/C of 1.42, that is, a saving of 0.42 cents per ton of cane harvested.
