Abstract: En la presente investigación el objetivo principal fue determinar el nivel de percepción de la atención al cliente en el área de ventas de clientes empresariales de una empresa eléctrica. Se utilizó el método No Experimental, los métodos de análisis documentario, estadísticas de fuentes secundarias, procedimientos y análisis de datos haciendo uso del paquete estadístico SPSS Básico versión 22. Como herramienta de medición se aplicó un cuestionario por el periodo dos semanas. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que el nivel de atención al cliente tiene una calificación de Regular, existiendo insatisfacción en puntos como la rapidez de la atención y orientación al cliente; por otro lado se identificó que el indicador de mayor aceptación es el de buen trato al cliente. La población identificada fue de 1320 de acuerdo a la cantidad de atenciones registradas del 2016. Se concluye que con la finalidad de mejorar la atención al cliente se evalúe aplicar mediciones de nivel de atención al cliente, implementar un sistema de control de colas que permita medir los tiempos de espera y de atención del personal que atiende al público, capacitación y habilitar más lugares de atención con horarios adecuados.

The main objective in this investigation was to determine the level of customer service on the sales area of business customers of an electric company. It was used the Non-Experimental method, the methods of documentary analysis, the statistics of secondary sources, the techniques and data analysis for the use of Excel and SPS Basic 22 version. As a measurement tool, a questionnaire was apply for two weeks. The results obtained showed that the level of customer service has regular rating, there is dissatisfaction in some topics such as speed of attention and customer orientation; On the other hand, it was identify that the greater indicator is that of good treatment to the client. The 1320 population was identified according to the amount of care recorded in 2016. It is concluded that to improve customer service, the company must apply measures of customer service level, implement a queue control system that allows to measure the waiting times and attention of the staff that serves the public, training and enable more places of care with appropriate hours
