ABSTRACT The general objective of this work is to reduce the operating costs of the company UNIQUE S.A. - Trujillo Division through an improvement in the distribution of orders. First, a diagnosis of the current situation of the company UNIQUE S.A. - Trujillo Division specifically in the Distribution Area, since it was causing high operating costs. Once the identification stage of the problem was completed, the company's diagnosis was drafted and the root causes identified, applying the Ishikawa diagram. Subsequently, the Root Causes prioritization was carried out through the use of the Quiz (Annex A, page 104) and the Pareto Diagram to make way to determine the economic impact generated in the company by this problem represented by monetary overruns. The present work also details the improvement tools such as: Process Management Tools and Training Plan. The designed implementation contains development procedures and standardized formats that allow controlling the distribution process. Finally and with all the information analyzed and collected; plus the diagnosis prepared, an analysis of results and discussion will be presented in order to corroborate with quantitative data the evidences presented and the improvement achieved in the distribution of orders to reduce operational costs in the company UNIQUE S.A. - Trujillo Division. In reference to economic indicators, the improvement has a NPV of S/ 79,420.09, TIR of 92.53% and a Benefit / Cost Ratio of 1.5.
