This research aims to find differences in behavioral disorders of children with separated and not separated parents in a educational institution of the city of Cajamarca, for it we sought to establish the difference that exist in the different behavior disorders which are: of inattention, impulsivity, hyperactivity, opposition, predisocial and disocial disorder children with separated parents and not separated from the aforementioned educational institution. For this, it was considered convenient to use a research design that is Non - Experimental, within the category of Descriptive - Comparative, being necessary the use of the instrument called: Questionnaire for the Detection of Behavior Disorders in Children and Adolescents "ESPERI", (Parella, San Sebastián and Martínez, 2009) the same one that has the purpose of determining the level of disruption disorders in students from 8 to 11 years old. This instrument has been standardized in Peru by Flora Baca Pacheco. The administration is individual or collective, with a duration of approximately thirty and forty minutes. The reliability is α = 0.88, which is considered high. After applying the test, it was possible to conclude that there are differences in behavior disorders in children with separated and not separated parents, being the first ones in whom there are high inattention-impulsivity-hyperactivity disorders, prebehavioral behavior and Dissocial conduct, however, also concluded that there are no differences in defiant oppositional behavior. With these results, it was believed that the recommendations aimed at educational integration (focusing on classroom tutors) and parents were made. In addition, there are recommendations aimed at researchers who seek to study these variables. KEYWORDS: behavior disorder, separated parents, not separated parents.
