The purpose of this research is to identify factors and strategies that facilitate the career advancement of executive women in Peru. The study has an exploratory purpose and uses multiple cases strategy with holistic approach. Interviews were conducted with 20 executive women of large companies in Peru and the results highlighted that the most used strategies would be the networking, followed by postgraduate training, and mentoring. Also, through the cross-case analysis of data, it was determined that the application of a particular strategy could be linked to three factors: management of a professional development plan (PDP), company support, and barriers that arise in the course of the career. This research would be the first approach to the strategies that would be using executive women in Peru. Capitalizing on these findings, companies could take a more active role in the professional development of women
