In the 20th century women massively penetrated the labor world, in recent decades their incorporation into the business world has accelerated in positions of leadership and greater responsibilities. This phenomenon presents great challenges for the society, given the important role of women in her family roles, which initiated the study of what is called the work-family conflict. On the other hand, time is a limited resource that each individual must learn to manage between his different roles in society, each role is increasingly demanding time, but time is still limited. The present study analyzed the relationship between time demanded by work and family and work-family conflict, time demanded by work and job satisfaction, work-family conflict and job satisfaction, in a sample of professional women, with family responsibilities, resident in Argentina. The research was quantitative, explanatory and transversal, the theoretical model was analyzed with structural equations modeling. The results of the research showed a positive relationship between time demanded by work and the work-family conflict, and a negative relationship between the work-family conflict and job satisfaction, but no relationship between time demanded by the family and work-family conflict, and no relationship between time demanded by work and job satisfaction. These results motivate companies and society to implement family friendly policies to promote work and family balance.
