The present thesis research was carried out in the El Alizar hamlet, Chugay district, Sánchez Carrión province, department La Libertad 2017, taking into account the main participation of the JASS board and technical group that accompanied me to carry out the data collection insi-tu for the development of the designs in general; being the main purpose to generate an adequate service of potable water supply in the said locality and thus to give a better quality of life of the population of El Alizar; to achieve the objective set out in this research, the basic engineering studies were carried out, starting with the topographic study, later the study of soil mechanics, also the study of water quality sources, the environmental impact study to minimize negative impacts during and after their execution, and finally the work in the cabinet, generating the designs of the components of the drinking water supply system; the present research was developed following parameters established in the "Guide to Technological Options for Systems of Water Supply for Human Consumption and Sanitation in Rural Areas" of the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation, approved in 2016, also E.030 Seismic Resistant Design, E.050 Soils and Foundations and E.060 Reinforced Concrete; the present research was carried out is nonexperimental descriptive cross-sectional design, the population is the drinking water design system for the farmhouse Alizar, the sample is the drinking water design system and study unit is the design of the technique used was observation and the instrument for data collection is the observation guide, the method used is descriptive statistics because it allows to record the data using tables and represent it in graphs and tables ; for the system it is necessary that the study of source of water quality is potable guaranteeing for its human consumption, later the whole system is designed considering the current population of 296 hab., and a design population of 367 hab., requiring a flow of daily design of 0.44 lt / sec. and a flow rate of 0.735 lt / sec per hour, so the sources guarantee to cover the demand with a total of 0.98 lt / sec
