This research work has been carried out in the "Neighborhood Association of Los Girasoles de Valdivia", located in the district of Huanchaco in the province of Trujillo; the main objective of this project is to design a drinking water system with groundwater supply for the purpose of supplying drinking water to the entire neighborhood association. With the joint participation and collaboration of local, regional and national authorities; Private enterprises; International organizations (NGOs) and the population itself we can achieve their implementation. This project will help to reduce Peru's high water scarcity; Counteract the spread of Dengue, Zika and Chikungunya; Decrease stomach and diarrheal infections; Improving socio-economic and environmental well-being throughout the affected area; For which we have found it convenient to attach sufficient importance to this problem. For the development of the design of the project we rely on the Peruvian standard of Sanitation Works (OS) and the National Building Regulations (RNE). The methodological process that was used in the research was done on the basis of a non-probabilistic cross-sectional sampling technique for convenience, using the observation technique and the observation guide as a technique; this project has quantitative - discrete descriptive statistics as its method. The results of the design were eloquent and reasonable to carry out the execution of this project. It was concluded in the realization of the design of the drinking water system with a system by pumping and the capture will be the construction of an underground well excavated artisan and finally extract the water for the human consumption; the components of this drinking water system are: a pumping station, pipeline, storage tank, adduction line and distribution network. The total cost of the project will be 811,109.56 Nuevo soles.
