The Regional Health Directorate Loreto - Loreto DIRESA, is the governing body of the Health Sector in Loreto, its management is performed through the Management Committee which meets every Tuesday and is mainly focused on primary or first level of health. The panel is chaired by the Regional Director and the Deputy Director comprised seven executive offices and legal advice. To date DIRESA has 352 health facilities, three hospitals, 52 health centers and 297. Among other important functions, among which mention that are of interest for the development of this Practical Work, is to oversee the implementation of entomological surveillance and vector control in the city of Iquitos, together in coordination with various biologists of the health facilities, which are those that deliver consolidated daily inspections, these processes are done manually storing records and processing them into sheets of Excel, resulting tedious, complicated and problematic when inquiring and require timely information in real time and bring a better overall control on Vector Control Enabled. Faced with this problem was introduced a computer system that records the entomological surveillance and vector control; any information of these processes are recorded in a database, enabling its rapid location using queries and reports, likewise facilitates the monitoring of throughout the consolidated monitoring, which will be helpful for the Department of Prevention and Control. We used Rational Unified Process (RUP) and method development, building language modeling notation Unified Modeling Language (UML) based on the Rational Rose modeling software. For the implementation of the system was used Visual Basic programming language of Visual Studio. NET 2008 as development platform and database manager SQL Server 2008. With the computer system implemented, will dramatically reduce the time got a, 97.68% obtaining consultation reports and information securely, reliably and quickly. The computer system has a satisfaction acceptance of use SUS (System Usability Scale) 90 and effectiveness of 90.5 points on a scale of 0-100 according to user survey while using the system.
