The present research work aimed to determine the validity and reliability of the classroom observation rubric, for the evaluation of the performance of the teachers of the Faculty of Education of the UNSAAC, through expert judgment, 2020. The type of research belongs to non-experimental-transversal-descriptive research, the population and sample made up of 12 expert judges, teachers from the universities of Cusco, Lima and Mexico. The technique used for the validation of the classroom observation rubric, it was an expert judgment and application of the rubric in a pilot group of teachers from the faculty of education. For the statistical processing of the data of the validation of the expert judges and to find the content and construct validity, the factorial validity index was used, used by Rubio, et al (2003), when developing this method, three indices were calculated of (inter- judge agreement validity, content validity and factorial validity) and to calculate the reliability, the Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used. The most important conclusion of the present work has been to ratify the proposed hypothesis, in the sense that the classroom observation rubric is valid and reliable, for the evaluation of the performance of the teachers of the Faculty of Education. According to the results from expert judgment, it is confirmed that all the indicators and criteria of all the components, responds to the intended objective for which it was designed and from the application of the instrument with a pilot group, provides homogeneous results in use.
