Know the morphometry of the maxillary sinuses in both men and women is a great professional support, with the help of computed tomography we can better analyze all its dimensions and increase assertiveness when proposing a treatment, be it in the area of surgery, endodontics, implantology and for of course the forensic area since the dimensions that this anatomical repair presents help us with a high probability in the identification of gender in post mortem people Objective: The investigation was carried out to determine the sexual dimorphism of the maxillary sinuses in patients from our region who were studied in Cone Beam Tomography. Materials and methods: he following research had a descriptive scope, quantitative, cross-sectional, retrospective and observational design; was carried out on 190 tomographies where 380 maxillary sinuses were analyzed of patients (18-60 years old) in which the sexual dimorphism of the maxillary sinuses in height, width, length and volume were analyzed. Results: he maxillary sinus of the male sex showed an average height of 35.8mm, width of 24.1mm, length of 34.2mm and volume of 14.7cm3. Regarding the female sex, the results for the maxillary sinus mean height is 33.8mm, width 22.4mm, length 32.9 and volume 12.5cm 3 . Conclusion: It was determined that sexual dimorphism shows higher values in the male sex than in the female sex.
