Relación entre la necesidad terapéutica y el tratamiento odontológico en niños menores de 11 años atendidos en el servicio de odontología del Hospital Alfredo Callo Rodríguez, Sicuani 2017

Abstract

El objetivo es determinar la relación entre la necesidad terapéutica y el tratamiento odontológico en niños menores de 11 años atendidos en el servicio de odontología del Hospital Alfredo Callo Rodríguez, Sicuani 2017. Materiales y métodos: El estudio es de enfoque cuantitativo , correlacional, no experimental y retrospectivo transversal, se tomó una muestra de 278 historias clínicas de niños menores de 11 años atendidos en el servicio de odontología del Hospital de Sicuani del 2017, de donde se extrajo la información pertinente, edad, sexo, tipo de dentición, necesidad terapéutica y tratamiento odontólogo, en la ficha de recolección de datos para determinar la relación entre necesidad terapéutica y tratamiento odontológico. Los datos fueron analizados usando tablas porcentuales y de frecuencias. Resultado: Se determina que la relación entre la necesidad terapéutica y el tratamiento odontológico, según la edad observamos, el 95.5% son de 5 a menores de 11 años de edad que si requiere de necesidad terapéutica y si recibió tratamiento odontológico. Según el sexo observamos que la mayoría de niños atendidos, el 88.5% son del sexo femenino que si requiere de necesidad terapéutica y si recibió tratamiento odontológico. Según su tipo de dentición observamos que la mayoría de niños atendidos el 94,5% son de dentición mixta que si requiere de necesidad terapéutica y si recibió tratamiento odontológico, aplicamos prueba estadística del Chi cuadrado de confiabilidad del 95% y un p< 0.05, es decir de significancia de 0,05, rechazando la hipótesis nula. Conclusión: Existe relación estadística significativa con un nivel de confiabilidad p=0.000 entre la necesidad terapéutica y el tratamiento odontológico en niños menores de 11 años atendidos en el servicio de odontología del Hospital Alfredo Callo Rodríguez de Sicuani.

The objective is determine the relationship between therapeutic need and dental tretmet in children under 11 years of age treated in the dentistry service of the Alfredo callo Rodriguez Hospital, Sicuani 2017.Materials and method:it is quantitative, descriptive and correlational, not experimental and cross .The simple is of 278 clinical histories of the dentistry service filed inthe service of medicla records of the Sicuani Hospital in 2017, from wich pertinent information was extracted, age, sex, type of dentition, therapeutic need and treatment dentist, for such study in the data collection form,The data were analyzed using percentage and frecuency tables. The results:It is determined that the relationship between therapeutic need and dental treatment ,according to the age observed that the majority of children treated ,95.5% are from 5 to under 11 years of age than if they requiere therapeutic need and if they receive dental tratment.According to the sex observed that the majority of the children atended,88.5% are of the female sex that requires the therapeutic need and if they receive dental treatmet.According to their type of dentition ,we observe that the majority of children treated,94.5% are of mixed dentition that if it requires therapeutic need and if they received dental treatment ,we applied statistical test of Chi square with a 95% reliability level and a p<0.05 ,that is tos ay with a significance of 0,05 ,rejecting the null hypothesis .Conclusion: There is a significant with a level of reliability p= 0.000 between therapeutic need end dental treatment in children inder 11 years of age treated in the dentidtry service of Alfredo Callo Rodriguez Hospital of Sicuani.
