The research was based on the relationship of the strategies for learning, with the academic performance more used in Andina University of Cusco’ students of the Third Cycle 2013-III of the Professional Career of Tourism. The sample was constituted for 46 students: 21 boys and 26 girls, The instrument used was the Questionnaire of José Román Sánchez y Sagrario Gallego Rico, learning strategies (ACRA), that consider as strategies: the acquisition, coding, recovery and support for the processing of the information, and for the academic performances were used the records consolidated the year 2013-III. The research design was descriptive, and among these, the correlate design; and were established relationship between the variables of studies. The obtained results indicate that there is a positive moderate medium relationship between the application of learning strategies (ACRA), and the academic performances, being the most known or used the Strategies of Acquisition and Support for the Processing of the Information with 29%, the next one is Coding Strategy with 24% and the less known or less used is the Recovery Strategy with only 18%. The obtained results indicate a score of 0.547, Pearson, that is confirmed with the final average obtained in the evaluated subjects a score of 15, although that is an approved score in the university regulations, it is not the goal that we want to arrive.
