The research “PERSONAL AND CLINICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF CHILDREN OF 2 TO 6 MONTHS WITH PENTAVALENT POST REACTIONS THAT COME TO THE HEALTH CENTER OF OROPESA, NOVEMBER 2016 - MARCH 2017“, had as its objective: to describe the personal and clinical characteristics of children of 2 to 6 months with pentavalent post reactions that come to the health center of Oropesa. November 2016 to March 2017. The methodological design was exploratory, descriptive and cross-sectional study, the study sample was composed of 40 children. The technique used was the interview and the instrument used for data collection was the structured survey. The results obtained in the present study were: The 27% is 6 months of age, 17.5% have 3 months and 5 months, 60% are female and 40% male; 37.5% is an only child,12.5% of fifth to over 35%; are of Oropesa and Huasao, 2.5% Patabamba and Pinagua; 95% is taken care of by the mother, 2.5% is taken care of by the sister and grandmother; 47.5% 2.5% High school, no degree of instruction; 45% are housewife, 5% other; 42.5%, 7.5% 72.5% presented widow; post the pentavalent vaccine in less than 6 hours; 2.5% of 48 hours to more than; 72.5% presented erythema only in the vaccination zone, 27.5% had no erythema; 62.5% presents edema in the area of vaccination, 37.5% did not have edema; 75% had no induration, 25% presented induration only in the area of vaccination; 75% presented pain only in the vaccination zone, 2.5% had no pain; 72.5% 27.5% presented fever, presented no fever; 60% presented continuous crying less than 3 hours, 7.5% had no; 65% had no irritability, 35% presented irritability after the administration of the pentavalent vaccine; 100% had no seizures.
