Within the theoretical framework, pertinent theory of Family Law - Food, Effective Jurisdictional Guardianship and Principle of Protection of the best interests of the child - was developed and analyzed. The research was qualitative documentary, the discussion of the results was carried out through legal argumentation based on theoretical and factual data. The hypotheses were validated, and the main conclusion reached was: “The mechanisms to guarantee compliance with the child support sentences, in relation to the Effective Judicial Guardianship and the Principle of the Superior Interest of the Child and Adolescent in the district of Santiago, Cusco, 2018; they are relatively effective”. The fundamental recommendation is directed to the Ministry of Justice, in the sense of implementing state policies to reinforce its role as guarantor of the right to food, through informative, motivational and above all educational talks in relation to the role of parents in caring for and feeding their children.
