This research explores the influence of human, social and financial capital on the development of female entrepreneurship. Using a case study of the Promperu 5S Program, in the Gamarra textile cluster, the role of social networks in the development of their ventures is analyzed; through in-depth interviews with five entrepreneurial women from this program. The research delves into the importance of education, family burden management, motivation and the formation of networks for the development of their businesses. The findings reveal that education and experience are key to the development of human capital; that the family influences the formation of business values, and its early management allows the timely development of its businesses; and the crucial role of social networks in building trust and support. The study also highlights how the location in the Gamarra cluster offers access to broader markets, strengthens the reputation of its brands and facilitates the obtaining of resources; However, it shows the complexity of access to financing and the persistence of unfavorable practices for entrepreneurship. Despite the barriers they face, women entrepreneurs demonstrate resilience and commitment to growing their businesses. The conclusions of the research highlight the need for public policies that prioritize gender equality, the development of human and social capital, promoting the construction of support networks for women entrepreneurs in Peru.
