The objective of this research work addresses the topic of the methodology of virtual classes and the academic performance in the English language in students of the National University of Education Enrique Guzmán y Valle, and its purpose is to determine the connection between the indicated variables. This research adopts a quantitative approach and follows a correlational design, of a substantive type. Descriptive methods were used to evaluate the relationship between variables, online teaching methodology and performance academic. The survey and analysis were used as data collection techniques. documentary film. Likewise, a questionnaire and the registry of notes, previously validated by expert judgment at the end of content validity. The study sample was made up of 48 students. After confirming the hypothesis, observed a Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient of 0.501, indicating a moderate and positive correlation between the virtual class methodology and performance academic at the Enrique Guzmán y Valle National University of Education, Chosica, in 2020, in the context of English learners. In summary, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the virtual teaching methodology of the English language and performance academic.
