The objective of this research was to determine how the pedagogical models relate to the learning of the official students of the Diploma in Leadership and Management of the Cavalry Regiment of the Army Cavalry School - 2018. The research focus was quantitative, of applied type, descriptive level, non-experimental design. The population was composed of 22 student officers and the sample was census-type, to which a survey of 18 questions was applied with a scale of five response categories referring to both variables. This instrument had a high reliability of 0.906. The analysis corresponding to the results of the survey was made, arriving at the empirical demonstration that 88.9% support or positively consider the requirements of the indicators and the dimensions proposed in the instrument; this was widely corroborated and contrasted using the chi square. It was concluded that the pedagogical models are significantly related to the learning of the official students of the Diploma in Leadership and Management of the Cavalry Regiment of the Army Cavalry School - 2018.
