The artificial intelligence has been widely integrated into various organizations over the past five years, positively impacting businesses in areas such as robotic automation and chatbots, which enhance customer interaction. It has also influenced the management of variable income portfolios in financial markets, enabling more efficient and precise investment decisions. Currently, various artificial intelligence models are used to process large volumes of real-time data, identify hidden patterns and trends, providing competitive advantages in financial markets. Furthermore, deep learning algorithms have been developed that can predict stock market indices, utilizing artificial neural networks and genetic algorithms for stock portfolio selection and optimization. Thus, although AI improves decision-making in a volatile market, it does not completely replace human experience and judgment due to challenges such as differences in regulations across countries and the lack of a standardized database to detect market manipulations. To analyze the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on businesses, and particularly on the management of equity portfolios in financial markets, a review of academic literature was employed, as well as case studies and data analysis conducted by financial sector professional. In summary, studying the impact of AI on investments is essential to understand its potential and limitations, and to develop strategies that maximize benefits while managing the associated risks. The continuous evolution of AI and its integration into investment processes promises to transform the financial landscape, offering investors more sophisticated and precise tools to manage their portfolios and improve economic outcomes.
