The present study is of a descriptive type and a non-experimental design, with the objective of determining the standard of living in patients diagnosed with tuberculosis who attend a Chorrillos public health center, with 30 patients for evaluation. Climbing is proof of the quality of life of Olson and Barnes. This instrument allowed us to measure the degree of satisfaction of the quality of life that a TB patient perceives; this test is classified into seven (07) dimensions such as: home and economic well-being, friends, neighborhood and community, family life and extended family, education and leisure, media, religion and health. Obtaining as a result poor quality of life in 66.7% of indicating that patients perceive a dysfunctional family environment. On the other hand, it obtains 33.3% with a category of "low quality life tendency", indicating that they perceive a family environment with communicational deficiencies and personal and group development within the family. Arriving at the conclusion that an Intervention Plan must be carried out to change the perception of poor quality of life for the good quality of life.
