The objective of this research was to determine the influence of the marketing mix strategies on the growth of the dental clinics of the graduated students of the UNMSM of the 2008 promotion. For this, 47 surveys were carried out which included different strategies of the Elements of marketing mix: product, price, place and promotion; as well as indicators of the growth of a dental clinic such as increase in new patients, percentage of increase of economic income, increase in the number of dental units and new equipment, and, finally, new hired workforce. A database was developed to facilitate the statistical collection and analysis of results. We used the SPSS statistical package and the Chi square test with a margin of error of 0.05. The results showed that marketing mix strategies positively influenced the growth of dental clinics (p = 0.018), with 23.4% of those surveyed being dentists who applied them. However, it was observed that the application of product strategies alone did not positively influence the growth of dental clinics (p = 0.979), nor did price strategies (p = 0.133) or strategies of distribution (0.133). On the other hand, the application of promotional strategies has a positive influence on the growth of dental clinics. It was obtained that the product strategies are applied in 59.6% of the respondents, being the strategy of product line expansion (attention in several dental specialties) the most used by dentists (76.6% of the respondents). It was also found that the application of the price strategy occurs in 51% of respondents, with the most used (78.7%) volume discount strategy. With respect to the strategies of place, it was observed its application in the 29.8% of the population, being the strategy of opening of headquarters the most used by the respondents (21.3%). On the other hand, the implementation of promotional strategies occurred in 80.9% of cases, the most used strategy being direct marketing (communication with the patient through calls, emails, etc.) that was presented in 76.6 % of population. On the growth of dental clinics, it was found that in the last three years 34% of the respondents had a global growth. Likewise, 25.5% of the respondents affirmed an increase of new patients in an elevated way to more, 19.1% of the dentists observed an increase of economic income by more than 50%. In addition, 51.1% of dentists increased the number of dental units, 44.7% acquired new instruments, and 25.5% bought new equipment (halogen lamps, intraoral chamber, etc.) and 27.7% purchased both. (Instrumental and equipment). In terms of staff growth, 59.6% of the respondents increased their dental staff by at least one and 34% increased their staff with at least 1 dental assistant.
