Abstract: Objective: To determine the relationship of organizational commitment and Burnout syndrome, in the personnel of a private company in Peru - Tacna, 2021. Material and method: A study with a quantitative approach, of a basic type, corresponds to a non-experimental design and with a descriptive, correlational, cross-sectional scope. The sample was 47 workers, to whom the 18-item organizational commitment questionnaire and 16-item burnout questionnaire were applied, and Pearson's parametric statistical test was used to verify the results. Results: It was determined that 74.50% of the evaluated workers are in a medium level of organizational commitment and 66.00% of the workers are in a low level of burnout syndrome. Conclusions: The results indicate that there is no relationship between the variables organizational commitment and the Burnout syndrome of the private company, obtaining a Pearson coefficient r = 0.201 and a p-value of 0.176, which would indicate that thus there is greater organizational commitment; it will not affect the level of burnout syndrome and vice versa. In the analysis between dimensions, the highest correlation found was organizational commitment with the cynicism dimension of the burnout syndrome, a Pearson coefficient r = 0.243 and a p-value of 0.099, therefore a 90.10% probability that there is a correlation was obtained very weak positive. Keywords: Organizational commitment, burnout syndrome, worker. vii
