The purpose of the research work is to determine the relationship between teacher selfefficacy, teaching style and student satisfaction with the performance of their teachers. 32 lecturers of basic courses, science and humanities, of the first cycle, of the face-to-face undergraduate modality, from a private university in Lima were evaluated. The approach used was quantitative, its scope descriptive correlational and nonexperimental design. A teacher self-efficacy scale, an inventory of teaching styles, both standardized, and a student satisfaction questionnaire designed by the institution where the study was carried out were used. The results show that the evaluated teachers have high self-efficacy, with greater competence in teaching planning strategies, the Personal Model predominates as the primary teaching style and the satisfaction that students have with their teaching performance is average. Low and moderate significant relationships were found between some dimensions of the variables studied that indicate that: teachers with the highest self-efficacy are Facilitators (ρ = .37), self-effective teachers who use strategies to plan teaching and evaluate learning are those who have better satisfaction results (ρ = .36 and ρ = .37) and that students feel less satisfied with Delegator-style teachers (ρ = -. 38). In conclusion, it is recommended to continue with the investigations as these variables influence the teachers, their pedagogical practices and the satisfaction of the students. Understanding the professional needs, as well as the characteristics and personal interests of teachers, will promote quality in education and satisfy the demands of the actors in the educational community.
