As the main objective of this research, it was determined to quantify the influence of the Flipped Classroom or Inverted Classroom in the improvement of academic performance in the calculation of IPv4 addresses of the students of the Network and Data Communications I course of a private university in the city. of Lima during the semester 2018-II.The population was 50 students and as a sample, the 50 students were taken, made up of two groups, an experimental group where Flipped Classroom would be applied and a control group, each group was made up of 25 students. It was determined to use a methodology under the quantitative approach of descriptive scope and with a non-experimental transectional design. The survey technique was used, and the instrument used was a questionnaire type, the same one that was developed based on the study dimensions of the calculation of IPv4 addresses. The results obtained in the Pre-test had an average grade of 11.83 (on a vigesimal scale), considered disapproving for the university, with a passing percentage of the order of 52%. After applying the Post-test, students presentedan average grade of 13,046 considered passing by the university and a passing percentage of 78%, demonstrating that the influence of the Flipped Classroom in improving the academic performance of students in the Networks course and Data Communications I is positive as the percentage of approved students increased significantly.
