The efficacy study of a multilevel leadership model to reduce accident rates in the mining related services of the company SECOTEC SAC, proposes the representation of the three reactive safety indicators demanded by Peruvian legislation, in two pre and post test stages; through the implementation of a multilevel leadership model with the statistical comparison of the indices of the before related to the after implementing the model; in a descriptive thesis with a pre and post test design in a single group; the study population 104 workers and a probability sample of 82 workers. The result explains that the average of the pre-test accident indicator of 8.18 was reduced to 2.86 at the post-test; the average of the pre-test severity indicator of 136.25, was reduced to 81.26 at post-test; and the average of the pre-test frequency indicator of 58.18, was reduced to 35.14 at post-test; It is concluded that the implementation of a multilevel leadership model managed to significantly reduce the reactive accident rates with an efficiency of 39.60%, 40.36% and 65.04% for the frequency, severity and accident rates respectively.
