The Covid-19 pandemic is a more serious health problem currently facing the world, which has negatively impacted the economy, health and people's lives. Faced with this, the government has designed the “I stay at home” Voucher, which consists of granting a monetary subsidy in favor of households living in poverty and extreme poverty, which have been affected by the quarantine measures. This Research Work seeks to determine the influence of the Design of the Voucher "I stay at home" on the level of compliance with respect to compulsory social isolation, and to explain if this strategy has been adequate for our reality and if it fulfilled its objective. The method used for the present work is explanatory, not experimental, quantitative approach. Likewise, for data collection, as a technique, the survey was used, and it was applied in the area of the beneficiary population of the “I stay at home” Voucher in Zone 1A -Eastern Cone of the Ayacucho district, Huamanga-Ayacucho.The results show that the Design of the Voucher "I stay at home", regarding the criteria for targeting beneficiaries, the amount of the monetary subsidy and the modality of attention to the beneficiaries, have not been adequate and do not respond to the regional reality. Therefore, it is determined that the designed strategy has not had a significant impact on the achievement of the proposed objective, which consisted of ensuring that people comply with mandatory social isolation during the period from March to June 2020, providing monetary resources to the most vulnerable households.
