Soil dynamics are much less studied and more unpredictable, causing many problems in different types, in particular, when the soil is mostly made up of sand and saturated, a phenomenon called Soil Liquefaction occurs, which can explain how loss of resistance to the cutting of the soil that, when transformed into a kind of viscous liquid, is incapable of resisting loads. In no district of Trujillo has a study of risk zones of soil liquefaction been carried out. The district of Víctor Larco Herrera is located 4 km from the city of Trujillo, in the South West part. Its topography is flat with uniform slope of 0 and 1% up to a height of 3 to 10 meters above sea level, on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. The ground resource of the district is characterized by the high level of the water table and its salinity; however, there are no studies on the possible liquefaction of soils during an earthquake since the greatest apparent concern is coastal erosion. In the present research work it is highlighted what the NTP indicates. The Responsible Professional will carry out the corresponding study to rule out or verify the occurrence of the phenomenon of liquefaction in the soils located under the water table. This will be done using the method of Seed and Ydris; This method was developed based on in-situ observations of the behavior of sand deposits during past earthquakes. The process involves the use of standard penetration resistance. (Technical Standard E 050)
