Práctica Musical y Rendimiento Académico en los Estudiantes del Taller de Música de la Institución Educativa Parroquial San Luis Gonzaga de Huánuco - 2016

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene como propósito determinar la relación que existe entre Práctica Musical y Rendimiento Académico en los estudiantes del Taller de Música de la Institución Educativa Parroquial San Luis Gonzaga de Huánuco – 2016. La investigación es de tipo básico, de nivel descriptivo correlacional y de diseño no experimental. La población estuvo conformada por 249 estudiantes y la muestra, por 25 estudiantes del taller de música. Para la recolección de los datos se aplicó la técnica de observación; para la variable Práctica Musical y su instrumento, la guía de observación, y para evaluar el Rendimiento Académico, el análisis documental (de las calificaciones obtenidas por los alumnos). Los hallazgos de la investigación dan cuenta de la existencia de una media aritmética de 29,3 de Práctica Musical y 16,6 de Rendimiento Académico que se ubican en el nivel regular y bueno, respectivamente. Asimismo, se demuestra que hay una relación directa media estadísticamente significativa de r= 0.399 y p_valor=0,024 < 0.05 entre las dos variables; es decir, a un buen nivel de práctica musical le corresponde un buen nivel de rendimiento académico y a una mala práctica musical, un mal rendimiento académico. Se concluye señalando que existe relación directa y baja entre Práctica Musical y Rendimiento Académico en los estudiantes del Taller de Música de la Institución Educativa Parroquial San Luis Gonzaga de Huánuco (2016).

The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship that exists between Musical Practice and Academic Performance in students of the music workshop of the Parish Educational Institution San Luis Gonzaga de Huánuco - 2016. The research is correlational descriptive level and non-experimental design of the basic type. The population consisted of 249 students and the sample, by 25 students of the music workshop. For the data collection the observation technique was applied for the musical practice variable and its instrument the observation guide and to evaluate the academic performance the documentary analysis of the grades obtained by the students was used. The findings of the research show the existence of an arithmetic mean of 29,3 of musical practice and 16,6 of academic performance that are located at the level of regular and good respectively. Likewise, it is shown that there is a statistically significant average direct relation of r = 0,399 and p_value = 0,024 <0,05 between the two variables, it means that a good level of musical practice corresponds a good level of academic performance and bad academic practice corresponds a poor academic performance. It concludes that there is a direct and average relationship between musical practice and academic performance in the students of the music workshop of the Parish Educational Institution San Luis Gonzaga de Huánuco – 2016
