tierra bendita.
The present ethnographic research aims to systematically describe the origin and characteristics of the clothing, scenes, changes, music and the message of the “Mama Raywana” dance of the Jesús-Lauricocha district, in 2018, to reassess its originality and authenticity. The type of research was basic, pure or fundamental at the exploratory-descriptive level, the ethnographic, phenomenological design has been used. The first because it sought to know at first the customs and routine of the inhabitants of the area, in the days of the dance, the second because it sought to know the lived experiences of the people with respect to dance; the data collection instrument being an interview guide, completed by consulting experts and researchers on the subject. The ethnographic investigation of the dance and musical analysis of Mama Raywana and the cultural syncretism of the community in the Jesús-Lauricocha district, has been developed based on field work and the coexistence of the phenomena and social events of the community.
