Evaluación de acceso al uso del gas natural en la ciudad de Huánuco - Perú

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación desarrolla una evaluación económica para el uso del gas natural en la ciudad de Huánuco – Perú, transportado mediante cisternas criogénicas de gas natural licuado desde la planta de licuefacción de Pampa Melchorita hasta la ciudad de Huánuco, donde será posteriormente regasificado y distribuido en la ciudad mediante tuberías de polietileno para la redes externas, para las redes internas tuberías de Pe-Al-Pe y cobre en instalación residencial y comercial respectivamente; para ello, se revisa la disponibilidad de reservas de gas natural provenientes del lote 88 para el consumo nacional y distribuir en la ciudad de Huánuco; en torno a este contexto, se brinda una alternativa de solución para disminuir el consumo de combustibles derivados del petróleo, como es el caso de GLP y, a cambio, usar el gas natural, el cual presenta un menor costo y es más amigable con el medio ambiente. El proyecto se desarrolló mediante una investigación de tipo descriptivo, básico y documental, aplicando un diseño no experimental, de tipo transversal para la evaluación económica para el uso de gas natural en la ciudad de Huánuco. Los resultados muestran que el proyecto es factible; dado que, en la ciudad de Huánuco, se encontró que el consumo de gas natural residencial y comercial en los 15 años luego de iniciado el proyecto, será de 23,698 m3/día. Como resultado, se instalará una tubería de polietileno para la troncal principal y redes secundarias, para la distribución en la ciudad, por lo tanto, la factibilidad del proyecto se sustenta mediante indicadores económicos como el VAN, TIR y periodo de recuperación de la inversión, los cuales permiten comprobar la rentabilidad del proyecto.
