Mining is currently focused on the increased production of ore in order to improve its profits a lot, but not neglecting environmental issues, safety and risk control. The use of cyanide in the extraction of gold and silver ores can cause serious impacts to the environment, when they are not properly disposed of the effluents that are discharged into rivers or receiving body. In the removal, the percentage of total cyanide in the final discharge to the receiving body is one of the main variables, subject to constant variations due to innumerable factors whether controllable, uncontrollable or unknown involved in this process; which should be identified and optimized where possible (controllable variables) to minimize costs and/or maximize benefits; In the present case the problem is the instability of the total cyanide values in the final effluent that is achieved in the treatment plant, therefore it is necessary to find the optimal levels of the variables linked to the removal by this method, in order to ensure non-contamination of the receiving body and comply with current legislation in force. The purpose of this research is to optimize the removal of cyanide by the expensive acid method by applying Monte Carlo design experiments and simulation in sweeping solutions of the cyanide gold leaching process In our study we raised the problem of how much the use of Monte Carlo design experiments and simulation influences the optimization of cyanide removal by the expensive acid method? with the objective of optimizing the removal of cyanide by the expensive acid method by applying experiment design in sweeping solutions of the process of leaching gold with cyanide; Optimize the removal of cyanide by the expensive acid method by applying Monte Carlo simulation in sweeping solutions of the process of leaching gold with cyanide., Having as a hypothesis Applying design of experiments and simulation Monte Carlo we identify and optimize the removal of cyanide by the expensive acid method in sweeping solutions of the cyanide gold leaching process.
