The thesis called “Training of Technicians and Investment in Peru and the impact on the construction sector at the national level - Period 2003-2018“, evaluates the incidence of those trained in the Program of Training of Technicians, in Occupational Qualification, and the Private and Public Investment in Peru in the GDP of the construction sector within the framework of the economic growth theory approach. The GDP of the construction sector at the national level and as independent variables, those trained in the Technician Training Program, those trained in the Occupational Qualification Program, and Private and Public Investment were considered as a dependent variable. Linear regression was used to calculate the regression and as a result of the investigation, the variables that proved to be significant in the hypothesis test were “Those trained in the Technician Training Program, Private Investment and Public Investment“, which generated a greater impact on the GDP of construction. This situation is due to the fact that during the period 2003 to 2013, there was a favorable climate that led to greater growth in private and public investment, as well as an international context in which mineral prices favored the Peruvian economy, generating a fiscal surplus, which, together with economic, social and political stability, boosted greater investment and employment (specialized and unskilled labor) in the construction sector, and therefore greater growth in the country's economic activity.
