The Ministry of Culture is currently building the MUSEO NACIONAL DE ARQUEOLOGÍA DEL PERÚ (MUNA), located in the district of Lurín wich is the province of Lima named : “Mejoramiento integral del servicio de interpretación del patrimonio cultural mediante la creación del Museo Nacional de Arqueología del Perú en el distrito de Lurín , provincia de Lima , departamento de Lima” The technical specifications and the single-line diagram of the Main Board for commissioning Parallel electrical system transformers show that the switches must have a short circuit capacity value of 125 kA , and they also indicate that all switches of the ‘General’ and ‘Distribution’ Boards should be selected by means of a coordination of protections study prepared by a software and must comply with total and/or partial selectivity. With the support and advice of Ingenieros de Bticino del Perú S.A. - Legrand Group representatives of the LEGRAND brand (FRANCE), manufacturers of electrical equipment; we analyzed the technical specifications, descriptive memory, single line diagrams, and load chart ; We use the XL PRO3 TOOL SELECTIVITY & BACK-UP software to select the Electrical Panel Switches that met total and partial selectivity ; and the XL PRO3 CALCUL software for a complete selectivity study of the low voltage electrical system. The results show us that the maximum intensity of a three-phase short-circuit fault in the busbars of the Main Board of parallel transformers is 98,126 kA; therefore, switches with 100 kA short-circuit power of the LEGRAND brand can be used.
