Abstract: En los últimos años el Perú está experimentando un gran crecimiento en las construcciones de acero de mediana altura, por lo que el presente trabajo está orientado al estudio del comportamiento no lineal de pórticos resistentes a momentos, donde se muestran los diferentes modelos no lineales para el comportamiento sísmico de pórticos de acero.
Para desarrollar el presente trabajo, se utiliza un modelo que nos permite simplificar el problema de la no linealidad mediante un elemento multi-spring en zonas predeterminadas, para poder predecir el comportamiento no lineal en una estructura. Mediante este modelo se ha desarrollado un programa de cómputo para el análisis no lineal de estructuras de acero en dos dimensiones. Para verificar el programa realizado se ha usado un ensayo proporcionado por mi asesor. Asimismo, se verifica el programa realizado, con el programa SAP2000, dando resultados similares al modelo usado mediante un análisis pushover.
Finalmente, se analizan los resultados obtenidos mediante el programa de cómputo realizado y el modelo de ensayo utilizado para calibrar el programa.

For development the present research work a model is used and to simplify the problem of nonlinearity through a multispring element in predetermined areas to predict the nonlinear behavior of a structure. Through this model has been developed a computer program for nonlinear analysis of steel structures in two dimensions. To verify the computer program made has used a test provided by my thesis advisor. Also, it is verified the computer program made, with the computer program SAP2000, giving similar results compared with the model used, through a pushover analysis. Finally, the results are analized using the computer program made compared with the test model used to calibrate the computer program.
