The objective is to compare in vitro the apical transport in unirradicular premolar canals of moderate curvature produced with the mechanical technique of the iRaCe® system and the manual Roane of balanced forces by means of cone beam computed tomography, the study method was basic, the sample consisted of 40 root canals of human unirradicular premolars, The result was 55% of mesial apical transport and the lingual vestibule transport obtained a result of 60% of lingual apical transport, after instrumentation with the iRaCe® mechanical technique, in conclusion there is a difference between the apical transport in moderately curved premolar canals, being 95% for the iRaCe® system mechanical technique and 90% for the Roane manual technique (p-value 0.000<0.05).
