Self-medication refers to the use of medicinal products to treat disorders or symptoms that the patient recognizes, or is intermittent use or continued from a medication prescribed by the doctor for diseases or recurrent or chronic symptoms. The objective of the present investigation is to determine the factors related to self-medication in students of Administrative Sciences and International Businesses of the Private University of Huancayo "Franklin Roosevelt. " In addition, the scientific method was used, whose type of research It is basic and the level of research is descriptive. As a result of the research carried out, the following has been obtained information: 66% of students do self-medicate and 34% do not; he 67% of students who self-medicate are female and 33% are male sex 29% of students habitually self-medicate, 66% he does it rarely and 11% never self-medicates; 61% of students he responded that they self-medicate because they do not have time to go to the doctor; 94% of students who self-medicate are of medium socioeconomic status; 61% of students who self-medicate do so to treat the common cold; 86% of students responded that television influenced their person to self-medicate and 34% of students responded that the medications that They take mostly without a prescription are antibiotics.
