The Language, as an exclusive communication system for human beings, allows us to function in our environment and facilitates the development of learning. Taking into account this premise, it is vital to focus attention on the evolutionary development of language at an early age, allowing a possible linguistic gap to be diagnosed in time and achieving a timely intervention, developing capacities that allow the minor to obtain and issue information, organize their ideas, among other functions both in their school and social environment. The objective of the case study is to draw up an assessment and intervention plan according to the needs and characteristics of a child of 5 years and 7 months with difficulties in the comprehension and expressive processes of language. The hybrid intervention model is followed, which allows us to address specific objectives, focusing on the interaction of the child and the adult. The results allow observing an increase in their expressive and comprehensive vocabulary in the three programmed categories, the comprehension of literal questions under the proposed headings, the definition of words in an organized manner, the production of simple sentences by the structure: subject + prepositional phrase (to) + verb and finally the consistent emission of the fon / s / at the end of the syllable. It is concluded that the intervention plan applied allowed the minor to show progress in the lexical, semantic, morphosyntactic and phonetic - phonological components.
