Language is a human faculty that allows people to access social life and learning. However, it is currently observed that children present difficulties in the acquisition and development of language, which leads to problems in social interaction and learning. The objective of this case study is to design an assessment and intervention plan favoring the evolution, development and strengthening of skills in a 4-year-old child with difficulties in the semantic lexical, morphosyntactic and phonetic-phonological components. The hybrid model was followed, for which direct and indirect techniques were used, as well as diverse strategies which favored maintaining the child's interest in each of the sessions. At the end of the intervention, achievements were evidenced in the associations and justification of the relationship of the proposed semantic categories, in the response to questions referred to context situations before the header “What do you do if“, in following simple instructions of one action and two elements, as well as simple instructions of one action, two elements and location. Likewise, the identification and verbalization of simple sentences with the structure article, subject, verb and object, as well as the identification and verbalization of the phoneme /k/ in initial position, in words of 2 to 3 syllables was achieved. These results lead to the conclusion that the intervention plan applied benefits the child's language development and improves his interaction with the family, school and social environment.
