This research is based on analyzing the development of oral and written skills with the use of digital educational resources in the distance education modality. This new modality is generated by the state of emergency generated by the COVID-19 pandemic in Peru, for which all levels of education continued their studies through virtual platforms or another communication tool such as WhatsApp. Likewise, qualitative research allows to know the particular reality of the 4th grade of a public primary school in the Magdalena district, for this, the case study method was used, as well as the descriptive level. Using as a method the triangulation of various instruments such as the interview for the teacher and student and survey, for its subsequent coding and analysis of results, it is understood that the development of oral and written competence with the use of digital educational resources allows students to incorporate new ways of learning while strengthening their informational competencies. It is also important to highlight that students are also creators of multimodal content that they can share digitally with their partner, teacher, and family, allowing their learning process to be more enriching and meaningful.
