The objective of the study that includes establishing the relationships between the variables Political Ideology, measured through the Right Wing Authoritarianism (RWA) and Social Dominance Orientation (SDO), Conventional Political Participation (PPC) and Non Conventional (PPNC), Political Cynicism (CP), Internet Connection Index (IC) and Political Activity on the Internet (API). The aim was to compare the levels of Conventional and Unconventional Political Participation, Political Cynicism, the Internet Connection Index and Political Activity on the Internet among individuals according to sex, to then perform an analysis to know the variables that influence the PPC and PPNC. The sample consisted of 218 participants from a private university in Lima that connects to the Internet. No relationship was found between Age and IC with the study variables; however, there are very important and moderate relations between the PPC and PPNC, and the API. There are no differences in any of the study variables according to sex. The proposed general model shows that the SDO, the CP and the API have an influence on the PPC and PPNC.
