The purpose of this research work is to propose an innovative project that will mitigate the deficiencies in preventive police interventions in the police stations of Metropolitan Lima: the Salamanca Police Station, located in the district of Ate; the Santa Felicia Police Station in La Molina; and the Laura Caller Iberico Police Station in Los Olivos. In effect, the police interventions in the police stations are directly and indirectly related to the image of the National Police of Peru before the citizens. In chapter one, the problem of citizen insecurity has been defined and described as one of the most relevant problems in Peruvian society. As for chapter two, three main causes of the problem have been identified. First, outdated and decontextualized procedures in their formulation. Second, the lack of police training and education. Third, the limited and inefficient use of resources. In chapter three, the prototype has been designed, as well as the innovation challenge. A Continuous Training Program for Police Personnel in PNP Police Stations has been proposed. This program consists of monthly courses and the implementation of an APP to access material and work tools. Also, in chapter four, the desirability, feasibility and viability of the prototype are based on this proposal. Finally, the conclusions and recommendations are presented, which will make it possible, firstly, to summarize the extensive information provided and, secondly, to articulate the suggestions for this innovation project in order to solve the problem of deficient police interventions in Lima's police station.
