Currently, it is possible to find, within the contents of cultural industries, a tendency based on the autobiographical voice. Digital media reinforce this current. Its main features are the narrative nonfiction simulation of reality, the exhibition of private life and the prominence role of “common“ people. The autobiographical comic, which emerges in the second half of 20th century, is part of this phenomenon. On the other hand, the female autobiographical comic is one of the few subgenres where female authorship competes in quantity with its masculine counterpart. In this thesis, a work belonging to the subgenre mentioned is analyzed, divided into two volumes: Rollos míos and Más rollos míos by the French author Aude Picault. It is affirmed that this cartoon represents several peculiar features of postmodernity, and in particular of postmodern female subjectivity. The analysis of the work is guided by the theoretical approaches of Gilles Lipovetsky and Zygmunt Bauman, among others. The research is divided into two chapters according to the predominant themes in the work: the disconnection with the social environment and the dissatisfaction of romantic life. The analysis of the work allows us to affirm that the postmodern feminine subjectivity of the first world is marked by an inability to establish full affective links that bring satisfaction, thus living in a daily life of permanent discomfort, which is assumed resignedly.
