The present research aims to reduce the percentage of non-conforming products of CALZADOS PAREDES S.A.C. by improving the Quality Management System based on ISO 9001:2018 standard. It shows the situation of the company and the operations associated with management and manufacturing process, then set points to correct or improve in order to optimize processes and reduce the percentage of non-conforming products of the company. Research begins with a theoretical framework for Quality Management System and the requirements of ISO 9001: 2008 standard to use to help understand the content of the report, then a description of the organization of the company, macro and internal processes within which we focus on the management system. It is established that the study areas are all of production focused on quality, at all levels. The diagnosis of the problems encountered in each of the study areas will result in improvement proposals, the main one can mention the improvement of the Quality Management system to optimize the production processes, integrating it to the requirements of ISO 9001 standard: Training plan, product specifications and BPM to reduce wastage, times and nonconformities. This initially results in increased the percentage of trained employees to 100%, increased the percentage of raw materials and inputs items with a specification to 100%, increased the percentage of process documentation to 100%, increased the percentage of control formats in the processes to 100%, and above all reduced the nonconformities in production by 50% representing a profit of S/ 57,665.91 per year and to the extent that the application of the Quality management system I have sustainability over time this value will increase for the benefit of the company and the workers who work in it. Finally, the financial analysis that includes costs associated with research and implementation of the proposal (S/ 20,689.25) support the conclusion that the design and implementation are profitable to generate approximately S/ 229,255 new soles net profit, which implies an increase of 33% in VAN and 2.79 years to the return on investment (ROI), evidencing the need to develop the alternatives we propose in the development of the thesis.
