The present investigation has the purpose of designing the reinforcement of the existing pavement of the Pablo Casals Avenue section to the Papal Oval, through the application of the Benkelman beam based on a period of 20 years. The project seeks to evaluate the current condition of the road studied based on the PCI methodology, Pavement Condition Index that will allow the present faults to be obtained visually and analytically and classify them to the degree they correspond, according to the quantum analysis of the with the highest corrected deducted value, we obtained a PCI of 51.9, a range that according to regulations is classified as a REGULAR pavement condition. Likewise, to improve the precision and accuracy of the state of pavement condition in our research, a second methodology was taken into account, CONREVIAL, which involves the Benkelman beam as an indicator through instruments of analysis sheets and calculation memory that allowed us to reach to know the state of the layers that make up the subgrade in the study area. Said result through 8 points according to the MTC E 1002 – 2000 regulations, we obtained deflections of 75.40mm and 103.99 for the right and left lane respectively, which categorizes the section of road studied as BAD TYPE IV pavement, that is, deficient at the level of subgrade. According to our results and knowledge applied in said research, we outlined a reinforcement design in the structure, computing an ESAL of 9,000,000.00 and finally formulating an asphalt concrete reinforcement of 57.55mm and 118.6mm for the right and left cheek respectively, contributing and solving the problem that gave origin of our research
